Education is a fundamental tool for the overall development of human life. This idea is now accepted all over the world. Since time immemorial, knowledge acquisition and knowledge giving have been given priority. In the post-independence era, education has gained a lot of importance. As soon as the country got political independence, we became the architects of our past.
It has been 75 years since independence. But it would not be wrong to say that the real educational revolution in our country started with the new education policy of 2020. After many years, thinking about education policy has started. The British changed the Indian education system to produce laboring clerks and secure obedient slaves. During the British colonial period, the education system designed to make slaves did not change much.
Most of the current schools seem to revolve around this system. To be honest, I think our education system is very overrated. Worse, it is destroying our future generation. Instead of developing valuable skills, the future generation is spending hours on end filling out worksheets or copying lectures. Copying notes that can be googled in 30 seconds is time-consuming.
Worse, it is destroying our future generation. Instead of developing valuable skills, the future generation is spending hours on end filling out worksheets or copying lectures. Copying notes that can be googled in 30 seconds is time-consuming. Now after a long time, the Indian education system is going to change. ATL and NEP will play an important role in this. I have been teaching students in Rudra The Practical School since 2017 on this ground. Because the concept of cupping word by word, line by line, is fundamentally wrong. I strive to instill in students creativity, out-of-the-box thinking, imagination, and innovation.
