पालक आपला पाल्य, शिक्षक व शाळा यांचेवर शिक्षणासाठी सर्वस्वी जबाबदारी ढकलून मोकळा होतो. विद्यार्थी शॉर्टकट शोधून संपूर्ण मेहनत न घेता आपल्याला सर्व रेडिमेड तयार करून आपणास घास भरवतील ही अपेक्षा बाळगून शाळेत येतो. तर शाळा / कॉलेज व शिक्षक त्यांना फक्त अभ्यासक्रम शिकवून मोकळे होतात व राहिलेली जबाबदारी विद्यार्थी व पालक यांचेवर सोपवून मोकळे होतात. म्हणजे स्वतःची जबाबदारी दुसऱ्यावर ढकलून प्रत्येक घटक दुसऱ्या घटकांकडून अपेक्षा बाळगून राहतो. परंतू जर शिक्षण प्रक्रियेत अतीशय उत्तम फलीताची अपेक्षा असेल तर विद्यार्थी, पालक, शिक्षक व शिक्षण व्यवस्था यांनी स्वतःची जबाबदारी ओळखून त्याप्रमाणे जाणीपूर्वक वागून विद्यार्थ्याच्या अपेक्षित प्रगतीकडे लक्ष केंद्रीत करून आवश्यक ते ते सर्व प्रयत्न केले तर आपल्याला अभिप्रेत सर्व काही आपण करू शकतो, फक्त गरज आहे ती परस्पर सहकार्य आणि समन्वय राखण्याची. परस्परांवर विश्वास ठेवण्याची आणि परस्परांच्या विश्वासास पात्र होण्याची. असे घडल्यास शाळा/कॉलेज विद्यार्थी आणि पालक यांना अपेक्षित परिणाम मिळाल्या वाचुन राहणार नाही.

शिक्षणा सोबत कौशल्य ज्ञान ही काळाची गरज बनलेली आहे. भविष्यात सर्वांसाठी नोकऱ्या उपलब्ध होतीलच याची शक्यता नाहीच. सोबतच टॅलेंट असलेली व्यक्तीच या स्पर्धेत टिकू शकणार आहे. यासाठी काळाची पावले ओळखून आजच शिक्षण पद्धतीत बदल करणे अनिवार्य आहे नाहीतर तुमचे सुद्धा जुने व्हर्जन होण्यास वेळ लागणार नाही.

यासाठी शिक्षणासोबत कौशल्य (प्रॅक्टिकल) शिक्षण अनिवार्य झाले आहे.म्हणूनच शिक्षणासोबत कौशल्य शिक्षण देण्यावर माझा भर असतो याचाच एक भाग म्हणून रुद्रा स्कुल आयोजित STEM फेस्ट मध्ये सादर करण्यात आलेली टॉयलेट क्लीनर, ब्लॅक फिनाईल, व्हाईट फिनाईल, हँड वॉश ही उत्पादने शाळेतील सायन्स लॅब मध्ये तयार करण्याचे प्रशिक्षण विद्यार्थ्यांना देण्यात आले. ही उत्पादने जशी तयार करण्यातच प्रशिक्षण विद्यार्थ्यांना देण्यात आले. तसेच ते आता विकण्याचे कौशल्यही त्यांना शिकविले जाणार आहे. उत्पादन करणे जेवढे सोपे तेवढेच ते विकणेही कठीण आहे यासाठी वाकचतुर्य (Presentation) महत्वाचे आहे. शालेय जिवनातच विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये उद्योजक तयार व्हावा यासाठी माझी धडपड आहे. यासाठी माझ्या शाळेच्या पालकांचे मला मोठया प्रमाणावर योगदान मिळत आहे. मी मनापासून त्याचे आभार मानते की ते माझ्या भावना व कळकळ समजून सतत नवनवीन प्रयोगांमध्ये मध्ये मला सहकार्य करीत आहे.
